Camilo is a Computer Engineer from Universidad de La Sabana and a former Naval Cadet in Colombia´s Navy. During his academic career, he developed projects related to HCI, Usability, GUI design, UX design and the psychology of human behavior which evolved to form the first HCI Lab in a Colombian university (LUX - Laboratory of User Experience).
He did his internship at MIT where he helped develop a novel platform to launch mobile apps, named MIT AppLab. He then became an MIT research affiliate and the Projects and Operations Manager of the MIT NextLab Program. There, he was instrumental in the engagement of entrepreneurship and innovation projects in Latin America with Telefonica’s Wayra.
Camilo is passionate about the untapped value of waste. PulpWorks and Camilo have exciting plans regarding the collection and dissemination of data related to the creation and use of packaging waste.
In his spare time, Camilo loves to dive, play soccer, travel, and photography.
