Senior Quality Assurance Test Engineer at Pulse Secure

Paul Evans has extensive experience in quality assurance and test engineering. Paul began their career in 1999 as a Design Engineer at Nokia Communications, where they were responsible for testing new software versions released by site developers and administering NMS/100 HP servers. In 2000, they moved to Marconi Communications, where they worked as a Software Design Engineer, developing a suite of tests for each probe to be tested and maintaining the computer networks. In 2003, they joined Magdalene Ltd as an NMS Care System Specialist, providing technical support and troubleshooting customer problems. Paul then moved to Magdalene as an NMS Support in the same year. In 2008, they joined Ciena Ltd as a Senior Support and Test Engineer, providing technical support and testing NMS software releases and patches. In 2012, they became a Test Engineer at AlertMe.com, working with bespoke and off-the-shelf Home Automation systems. In 2013, they moved to Riverbed Technology as a Test Engineer, where they were responsible for testing new features, integrations, enhancements, and upgrades. In 2015, they joined Brocade as a QA Test and QA Engineering. Finally, in 2017, they joined Pulse Secure as a Senior Quality Assurance Test Engineer, testing and QAing a new large, complex micro-services based solution.

Paul Evans attended the University of Birmingham from 1993 to 1997, where they completed a BSc Hons in Computer Science and Software Engineering. Paul also achieved A Levels, GCSEs in Computing, Mathematics, Physics, Spanish, and German.
