Marci F.

Marci F. has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2013 with their role as an Operations Assistant at the Cleveland Clinic. There, they simplified complicated clinical processes, managed the on-boarding process for new providers, and played an integral role in the Quality Improvement division of Emergency Services. In 2016, Marci F. held two positions: Education Analyst at UCSF Medical Center and Wordpress Developer at Proactive Physical Therapy. At Proactive Physical Therapy, Marci F. was responsible for building and maintaining the WordPress site, while also utilizing SEO best practices. Marci wrote SQL queries and applied data mining techniques for provider referral metrics to guide new marketing strategies, and served as Administrative Director, managing the development and implementation of new clinic protocols. In 2017, Marci F. became a Web Developer at zober, where they assisted with the development of the MVP site using Rails, Vue.js, and PostgreSQL. Marci was responsible for deployment environments, writing database queries, building backend services, and implementing mobile responsive UIs. From 2018 to 2022, Marci F. held two positions: Data Engineer at HealthRIGHT 360 and Software Engineer at 1upHealth, Inc. At HealthRIGHT 360, Marci F. built a scalable ETL process using Python, Spark, and Azure SQL, and denormalized eClinicalWorks EHR production database from 3NF to a well-documented OLAP data model. Marci also utilized the Kimball Toolkit to gather business requirements and design/maintain a resilient data warehouse. At 1upHealth, Inc., Marci F. served as a Software Engineer.

Marci F. began their educational journey at Kent State University in 2008, graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Policy Analysis. Marci then attended Actualize Coding Bootcamp in 2017 and 2018, where they studied Full Stack Web Development. Currently, Marci is enrolled at Santa Monica College and is pursuing an Associate of Science in Computer Science - Cloud Computing (Azure & AWS), which they are expected to complete in 2023.
