Mechanical Designer Intern at PulseMedica

Luis Quintero Gomez is a mechanical designer intern at PulseMedica. Luis previously worked at ALS as an experienced sample preparer from October 2019 to February 2021. In their role at ALS, they coordinated, designed, and developed machines and special components to improve the efficiency of the supply chain process. Luis also oversaw the installation and modification of mechanical systems inside the production plant.

Quintero Gomez achieved notable successes during their time at ALS. Luis designed and developed a GUI program which controlled and visualized the current status of every workorder during the transition from different areas, saving the company an estimated 15,000 AUD per year in re-processes and planning inaccuracies. Luis also invented and developed a new sample divider (model 1) which increased productivity by 48% in the splitting process, positively impacting 90,000 samples per year at ALS Geochemistry Adelaide.

Luis Quintero Gomez has a Master of Engineering from EAFIT University in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Bachelor's degree from the same school in the same field. Luis also has certification from the World Education Services in Verified International Academic Qualifications.
