Essam Elsahwi

CEO at Pulsenics

Essam Elsahwi is the CEO of Pulsenics, a company that provides solutions to treat some of the world's most resilient contaminants using electro-chemical methods. Prior to their current role, Elsahwi was the founder and CEO of Aquova, a company that provided similar solutions. Elsahwi has also held the title of Hardware Design Engineer at AMD.

Elsahwi's technology has been recognized in multiple venues, including the 2019 Clean Tech Open (CTO) Prize, the 2019 MIT water Innovation Prize, the 2018 MIT Clean Energy Prize and the 2018 Nexa Mining Challenge.

Essam Elsahwi completed a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto. Essam then went on to complete a Fast-track MBA Program at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management. Finally, they completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto.
