Liz Rebecca Alarcón

Liz Rebecca Alarcón has a diverse range of work experiences. Liz Rebecca is the Founder & Executive Director of Pulso, a position they have held since December 2017. Prior to that, they were the Director of Strategic Partnerships at The Children's Movement of Florida from an unspecified start date until December 2017. Additionally, Liz served as the Miami Hub Site Director at Millennium Campus Network from August 2015 to April 2016. Liz Rebecca also worked as a Producer for Weekend Newscast at Univision from April 2014 to January 2015. In 2012, Liz worked as a Project Assistant for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) at the National Democratic Institute (NDI). Liz Rebecca also served as a Fulbright Fellow with The Fulbright Program from September 2011 to July 2012. Liz's previous roles include Adjunct Professor at Archimedean Academy, Research Analyst at Bendixen & Amandi International, Program Associate at Global Ties Miami, and Intern for the Legislative Coordinator at Broward County Government.

Liz Rebecca Alarcón holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University, which they earned from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Studies/Sociology at the University of Miami from 2007 to 2011. In 2012, Liz also attended the University for Peace (UPEACE) - UN Mandated, where they focused on Human Rights Advocacy. Additionally, in 2009, they briefly studied French at Université d'Orléans.
