Hans Blom

Hans Blom is a seasoned expert in the chemical industry with extensive experience in various leadership and consultancy roles. Currently serving as Sector Coordinator for Chemicals and an Executive Board member at PUM Netherlands Senior Experts since 2015, Hans has also been a registered chemical industry consultant for the EBRD and focused on sustainable energy technologies and policies. Prior to their current roles, Hans held multiple positions at Shell, including Technology Manager for Sulphur Concrete and Intellectual Assets Manager in Chemicals, where Hans contributed to significant advancements in chemical processes and technology. Additionally, Hans is a board member of the KNCV’s Chemie Management and Maatschappy Groep, involved in advocacy concerning chemical issues in the Netherlands, and has experience in coaching and organizing energy transition forums. Educationally, Hans holds a Master's degree in Chemical Technology/Polymer Chemistry from Eindhoven University of Technology and is a certified Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner.
