Jan Laan

Jan Laan is a seasoned finance and audit consultant, currently serving as the Owner and Consultant at J.J.M. Laan Advies B.V. since March 2011, and as a Senior Expert at PUM Netherlands senior experts since January 2016. At PUM, Jan trains and advises accountancy organizations in Central and Eastern Europe in compliance with IFAC regulations. Jan has also held academic positions as a part-time lecturer in Management Accounting and Financial Auditing at the University of Amsterdam from 2008 to 2017. Previous roles include Chief Financial Officer at KNRM, Partner at BDO Consultants BV, and a long tenure at KPMG, among others. Jan's educational background includes post-master degrees in Economics, Accountancy from the University of Amsterdam and Management Consultancy from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, along with an engineering degree from Technical University.
