Vera Gaikhorst

Vera Gaikhorst is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in intercultural communication and international cooperation. Currently serving as a Senior Intercultural Expert at PUM Netherlands senior experts since September 2018, Vera also holds the position of Coordinator for the Master of Communication at NHL Hogeschool, where responsibilities include fostering international collaboration with Haaga-Helia University in Finland. Vera has a rich history in academia, leading initiatives such as the International Week at NHL and acting as the ERASMUS coordinator. With a background in lecturing and curriculum development in intercultural communication, Vera's expertise has also been applied in training Dutch language courses in Indonesia and conducting research with the International Labour Organization. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Cultural Anthropology from Leyden University and various certifications in intercultural communication.
