Moono Simatyaba

Moono Simatyaba is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Puma Energy since January 2023, where responsibilities include securing strategic oil reserves and providing financial guidance to the board. Prior roles include Chief Financial Officer at Zambia National Commercial Bank (Zanaco) PLC from August 2016 to December 2022 and Finance Manager at Zambian Breweries PLC from September 2011 to July 2016, among others. Moono has a strong background in financial management, budgeting, and compliance, complemented by an MBA from Oxford Brookes University and advanced leadership training from Harvard Business School. Additional qualifications include Fellow of the Association for Chartered Certified Accountants and a Bachelor of Accountancy from Copperbelt University.
