Naved Akhtar

Naved Akhtar, CTP, currently serves as a member of the AFP MEA Treasury Advisory Council since November 2022. Previously, Naved held the position of Senior Manager of Treasury at Deriv from July 2022 to January 2023 and worked at Moody's Corporation from May 2017 to September 2022, where responsibilities included managing cash management, liquidity, and global cashflow forecasting. Naved’s experience also includes roles as a Treasury Financial Analyst at Blackstone - Thoughtfocus Technologies, a Treasury Analyst at Aon Hewitt, and a Senior Analyst at the Royal Bank of Scotland Business, focusing on cash operations and cross-border payments. Naved's academic background includes a PGDBA in Finance from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a finance concentration from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
