Gulya Bakeberg

Gulya (Gulchekhra) Bakeberg is a seasoned HR professional currently serving as the Senior Director People & Organization EMEA at PUMA, where they are a member of the Regional and Global P&O Leadership Teams. They previously held roles at PUMA Europe, including HR Business Partner Europe and Head of People & Organisation Retail Europe, and have extensive experience in talent management and organizational development. Gulya's earlier career included significant HR roles at British American Tobacco, where they managed learning and development strategies and supported employee relations. They earned an MBA from the Leipzig Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Samarkand State University. In 2023, they were recognized as one of the Top 100 Women for Diversity in Germany by BGA.
