Vijay Ivaturi

Vijay Ivaturi has a diverse range of work experience in the scientific and pharmaceutical fields. Vijay currently holds the position of Chief Scientific Officer at Pumas-AI, Inc. since July 2019. Vijay is also the President Elect of the International Society of Pharmacometrics, starting in November 2022.

Prior to these roles, Vijay worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, starting in February 2013. Before that, they were a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Uppsala Universitet from September 2010 to November 2012.

Vijay earned their PhD from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from January 2007 to August 2010. During their time as a PhD student, they also worked as a CPMS Summer Intern at GlaxoSmithKline in May to August 2009.

Vijay's educational background includes a Masters in Industrial Pharmacy from Saint John's University, which they completed from January 2005 to December 2006. Overall, Vijay's work experience showcases their expertise in scientific research and leadership in the pharmacometrics field.

Vijay Ivaturi obtained their B.Pharm degree from Manipal Academy of Higher Education from the years 2000 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Masters degree in Pharmaceutics/Drug Delivery at St. John's University for the academic year 2005 to 2006. Vijay then went on to pursue a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology/Pharmacometrics at the University of Minnesota from 2007 to 2010. Lastly, they completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Pharmacometrics at Uppsala University from 2010 to 2012.
