Robert Cornog Jr

Robert Cornog Jr. serves as the Chairman and CEO of Punch Bowl Social and is a co-founder of the company since 2021. As the Chief Executive Officer of wagamama USA since February 2020, Robert oversees operations in New York City and Boston, promoting a modern approach to Asian-fusion cuisine. Additionally, Robert leads ZaxaZ Group as Chief Executive Officer, managing investments in various startups and enterprises since 2003. Previous roles include Board Member at Voicebox Karaoke (2019-2022), CFO and Principal at Punch Bowl Social (2012-2019), and Executive Vice President of Strategy and Finance at Sovereign Deed (2006-2007). Robert has extensive experience in investment banking, with significant positions at Mesirow Financial and Merrill Lynch, and began a legal career at Shearman & Sterling. Robert holds degrees from Northwestern University, Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, and The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
