Ben Cober

Ben Cober is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in controls and embedded systems, currently serving as the Global Function Lead for Controls & Embedded Systems and xCU Development Manager at Punch Powertrain since September 2018. At Punch Powertrain, Ben plays a pivotal role in developing control units for dual-clutch and continuously variable transmissions used by major OEMs across Europe, China, and India, collaborating with prominent Tier 1 suppliers. Prior to this, Ben held various engineering leadership positions at Option NV from September 1995 to August 2018, including Senior Director of Engineering, where responsibilities encompassed the management of research and development activities across multiple product lines. Ben holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Hogeschool PXL, obtained in 1995.
