Prior to this, Jake served as a Congressional Reporter for POLITICO from September 2009 to December 2020. Additional experience includes internships at The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Star Tribune, and The Journal News, focusing primarily on Washington bureau reporting and metro desk coverage. Educational qualifications consist of a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from The George Washington University.
