Ray Torres

Ray Torres has a work experience that spans several years in the field of BI and data engineering. Ray is currently working as a BI Data Engineer at Puntos Colombia, where they are involved in the development of datalake data ingestion, design and development of datawarehouse ingestion, and deployment of datasets.

Prior to their current role, Ray worked at Banco de Occidente, where they held two positions. From August 2020 to February 2022, they served as a Technical Lead, responsible for team leadership, design and development of Denodo views, and architectural analysis and guidelines. From June 2018 to August 2020, they worked as a Technical Analyst, showcasing their technical and functional knowledge of Oracle Flexcube software versions 11.3 and 10.2.

Ray Torres attended Universidad ICESI from 2013 to 2018, where they studied Ingeniería de sistemas (Systems Engineering). Ray obtained multiple certifications in various fields after their education, including "Curso de AWS Redshift para Manejo de Big Data," "Curso de Big Data en AWS," "Curso de Fundamentos de AWS Cloud," "Curso de Infraestructura Como Código con Terraform," "ICAgile Certified Professional," "AWS Machine Learning Foundations," "Curso Práctico de SQL," "Curso de SQL y MySQL," and "Certified Scrum Developer." These certifications were obtained from institutions such as Platzi, ICAgile, Udacity, and the Scrum Alliance, between 2021 and 2022.
