Annemarijn Nijmeijer

Annemarijn Nijmeijer is an experienced program manager specializing in sustainability within the agricultural sector. Currently serving as the Program Manager for Coffee at PUR Projet since January 2022, Annemarijn previously managed sustainability projects focusing on agroforestry and cocoa at Beyond Beans Foundation from October 2018 to January 2022. Furthermore, Annemarijn is a self-employed yoga teacher since 2019, motivated by the personal benefits of yoga practice. Annemarijn holds a PhD in functional ecology and agronomy from l'école doctorale GAIA, as well as a Master of Science in Environmental Biology and a Bachelor's degree in General Biology from Utrecht University. Additional educational experiences include studies in Plant Sciences at Wageningen University & Research and language training at Langue Onze. Annemarijn's career also includes roles at Fairfood International and Young Expert Programmes, providing a strong foundation in research and project management within the sustainability sector.
