Garrett Albers

Garrett Albers is a seasoned firmware engineering professional with extensive experience in the development and deployment of embedded systems. Currently serving as a Firmware Engineering Manager and previously as a Staff Firmware Engineer at Pura since February 2024, Garrett has contributed to the development of Battery Management Systems at Lithos Energy, Inc. from May 2023 to February 2024, and at Bird from February 2020 to January 2023. Prior roles include Senior Firmware Engineer and Senior Embedded Engineer at Venstar Inc. from June 2014 to February 2020, where responsibilities encompassed comprehensive embedded project management, including RTOS development and hardware debugging. Garrett's early career included positions as an Embedded Software Engineer Intern and Assistant Computer Engineer at Venstar Inc., and as Lead Computer Tech at Hillside Church. Garrett holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from California State University San Bernardino.
