Mike Baird

Mike Baird has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Mike is currently the VP of Product at Pura since May 2023. Prior to this, they served as the CXO | Chief Experience Officer at Pura from December 2021 to May 2023. Before joining Pura, they were the Head of Product at the same company from January 2021 to December 2021.

Prior to their role at Pura, Mike worked at Pluralsight as the Sr. Director of Product Management from February 2019 to January 2021. Mike successfully built a diverse team and provided strategic vision and leadership in product management. Mike also served as a Product Manager for Interactive Learning from September 2018 to January 2021, where they contributed to the design and development of interactive learning solutions. Additionally, they led the Product Design for Written Guides from March 2017 to September 2018, focusing on human-centered design practices.

Before their time at Pluralsight, Mike held various positions at HP. Mike worked as the Design Director, Interim for Personal Systems Software & Products from May 2016 to April 2017, overseeing multiple design projects. Mike also worked as the Sr. Product Design Lead, Consumer Applications and Services from August 2013 to May 2016, where they were responsible for the design of HP Connected Drive and HP JumpStart welcome experience.

Prior to their roles at HP, Mike worked as the Owner and Product Creator at New Media Blends from January 2007 to March 2012. Mike assisted multiple companies in developing their business identity and product strategies. Mike also worked as an Interaction Designer at Sequoia Media Group from January 2008 to May 2008, where they developed software and designed websites.

Mike Baird attended Utah Valley University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Digital Media with a focus on Interaction Design.
