Abhinav Kanchan

Abhinav Kanchan has extensive experience in corporate communications and CSR. Abhinav is currently the President & Group Head of Corporate Communications & CSR at Puravankara Limited since May 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Vice President & Head of Corporate Communications at Sobha Ltd. from September 2013 to April 2022. Abhinav also served as the Group Head of Corporate Communications at Moser Baer from January 2010 to September 2013. Abhinav Kanchan's previous experience includes positions as the GM & Country Head of Corporate Communications at ArcelorMittal India from August 2008 to January 2010, and the GM of Corporate Communications at Aditya Birla Group from November 2006 to August 2008. Abhinav began their career in the media division of FICCI, where they served as Head & Deputy Director from April 1996 to October 2006.

Abhinav Kanchan has a diverse education history. In 1987, they obtained a BA Hons. degree from St. Stephen's College in Delhi. Abhinav then pursued an MA from the same institution from 1990 to 1992. In 1994, they earned a diploma in Film Making from Sri Aurobindo Institute of Mass Communication in New Delhi. Continuing their education, Abhinav completed an MSc in Media Management from the University of Stirling in 2005. In 2007, they attended the Indian School of Business for a Certificate Program in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC). Additionally, Abhinav obtained a Certificate program in TQM from Employer's Organisation, "NIKKEREN" in Tokyo, Japan in 1997. To further enhance their skills, they pursued an Advanced Diploma in Business Management from All India Management Association (AIMA) from 2016 to 2018.
