Crista Popescu has held a variety of positions in the architecture field since 2014. Crista began their career as a Creative Workshop Technician for the Department of Architecture at the University of Liverpool, followed by an Architectural Assistant role at Arhimus. In 2015, they took on a Part I Architectural Assistant role at Berman Guedes Stretton Architects. In 2016, they became a Teaching Assistant for History of Architecture at the University of Westminster. Crista returned to Berman Guedes Stretton Architects in 2018 as a Part II Architectural Assistant, where they were responsible for developing design strategies, liaising with planning authorities and heritage officers, developing technical documentation, leading BIM implementation, attending site inspections, and communicating with clients. In 2019, they took on the role of Project Architect at Purcell, where they were selected to work on the Radley College Chapel extension, a grade II* listed project that was completed in September 2021.
Crista Popescu obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with Honours in Architecture from the University of Liverpool between 2011 and 2015. Crista then completed a Master of Architecture - MArch at the University of Westminster between 2016 and 2018. In 2019 and 2020, Crista Popescu obtained a PGDip Professional Practice in Architecture from the University of Westminster. Additionally, they obtained Architect certification from the Architects Registration Board in February 2020 and Architect - Member certification from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in February 2020. In September 2010, Crista Popescu obtained a Diplôme d’études en langue française - DELF B1 from the Ministère de l'Éducation nationale, de la Jeunesse et des Sports.
