Jovana Florus

Jovana Florus has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Jovana is currently serving as the Vice President - Technology at Purchasing Platform, Inc. since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director Of Engineering at Codecademy from August 2021 to July 2022. Before that, they held the position of Director Of Engineering at Farmer's Fridge from December 2019 to July 2021. Jovana also worked at Trunk Club as an Engineering Manager from June 2016 to December 2019. Additionally, they worked at Groupon as a Software Development Engineer in Test from July 2015 to June 2016. Jovana started their career at Microsoft in June 2007, where they worked as a Software Development Engineer in Test until July 2014. During their tenure at Microsoft, they excelled in various areas such as test automation, designing and implementing automated test cases, and providing competitive analysis on user experience.

Jovana Florus started their education journey by attending The Waldorf School of Garden City from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations with a focus on Economics at Brown University from 2003 to 2007. Following this, Jovana joined the Test Apprentice Program at Microsoft Corporation for the year 2007-2008. In 2009 to 2010, they enrolled in the University of Washington for a Masters Preparatory Sequence.
