Hussein Ghnaimeh

Hussein Ghnaimeh, MBA, PMP has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 17 years.

Hussein began their career in 2000 as an IT Operations Engineer at JAM, where they were responsible for IT operations and support.

Hussein then moved on to become an IT Infrastructure Manager at JAM, where they oversaw the availability and performance of IT systems.

In 2004, Hussein transitioned into the role of IT Operations Manager at JAM, where they managed IT operations, support, and service delivery.

In 2008, they joined Al Mal Capital as an ITD Operations professional, where they developed IT strategies and aligned business requirements with the IT plan.

The same year, Hussein also became the IT Director at Planet ME, where they set IT strategies, managed the IT team, and had budgeting and accountability responsibilities.

In 2014, they took on the role of Senior National Manager at CNIB, leading the development of IT applications, projects, and enterprise data strategies.

Hussein then joined Purdue Pharma (Canada) in 2015 as the Senior Director, PMO & Information Technology, where they led the IT and Project Management offices and developed IT strategies to support the business objectives.

Hussein continued their career at Purdue Pharma L.P. in 2018 as the VP Information Technology, CIO, where they were responsible for transforming the IT function and implementing an IT transformation strategy.

Throughout their career, Hussein has demonstrated their ability to lead and transform IT functions and develop strategies that align with business objectives. Hussein'sexperience ranges from IT operations and support to project management and enterprise data strategies. With an MBA and PMP certification, Hussein brings a unique combination of technical expertise and business acumen to their roles.

Hussein Ghnaimeh, MBA, PMP has a diverse education history. Hussein first pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Applied Science University, which they completed from 1996 to 2000. Hussein later obtained their MBA from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, specializing in Master of Business Administration, from 2013 to 2014. In 2013, they also obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Hussein further expanded their knowledge and skills in 2018 to 2019 by completing a Leadership Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Yale University. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, which they started in 2021 and expects to complete in 2023.
