Michael Danahy

Michael Danahy has worked in the tax department for several companies throughout their career. michael began as a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1997, where they specialized in state tax consulting. michael worked on projects involving income and franchise taxes, as well as transaction-based taxes. In 2001, they joined UST, Inc. as a Senior Director of Tax, where they were responsible for research, planning, and implementation of tax strategies. In 2009, they became the Executive Director of Tax at Purdue Pharma. As the head of the tax department, they oversaw the development and marketing of new medicines and products.

Michael Danahy obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting from the University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT. michael later pursued a Juris Doctorate degree in Law at the University of Connecticut School of Law from 1988 to 1992.
