Richard Silbert has extensive work experience in the legal field. Richard started their career as a Litigation Associate at Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson in 1986 and later joined Stein Zauderer Ellenhorn Frischer & Sharp in the same role in 1989. In 1992, they joined Purdue Pharma L.P. as an Associate General Counsel and held various roles within the company, including Vice President & Chief Litigation Counsel, Vice President, Associate General Counsel, Vice President, Chief Legal Strategist, and most recently, Vice President, Legal Strategy & Public Health Initiatives.
Richard Silbert earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History with a concentration in English & Comparative Literature from Columbia College, Columbia University from 1977 to 1981. Richard then obtained their Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School from 1983 to 1986.
