Polly Barks

Polly Barks is an experienced content writer and media relations professional currently working with Purdue Research Foundation since December 2023. As the founder of Barks Consulting since February 2016, Polly specializes in assisting mission-driven businesses and non-profits in developing and implementing accessible marketing plans. Previous roles include serving as Marketing Manager at MatchBOX Coworking Studio from August 2018 to December 2021, where Polly contributed to operational documentation and expense management. Additionally, Polly worked as a freelance travel writer and corporate ESL instructor in Moscow, founding AGirlandHerTravels.com to share insights on long-term expatriate life. Polly holds a degree in International Relations and Russian Studies from Beloit College and has attended Baltic Fishing Fleet State Academy.
