Scott McTavish has a diverse work experience starting from 2012. Scott began their career as a Summer Intern at Alterra Power Corp. in 2012. Scott then moved on to work as a Geotechnician at Pretivm Resources in 2013 and as a Junior Geologist at Archer, Cathro & Associates (1981) Ltd. in 2014. In 2015, they served as a Rock Mechanics EIT at Golder Associates. From 2016 to 2018, they were an Associate at PwC, specializing in consulting. In 2018, they worked as a Product Owner at PwC's Digital Services and later transitioned to the role of Senior Associate at PwC Canada, where they focused on Deals Strategy. In 2019, they became the Director at Dunarday Capital. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Strategy & Corporate Development at Purdys Chocolatier, starting in April 2020.
Scott McTavish attended Brentwood College School from 2011 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Geological/Geophysical Engineering at Queen's University from 2012 to 2016.
