Ctrs Deann Kauffman

DeAnn Kauffman, CTRS, has extensive experience in therapeutic recreation, currently serving as a CTRS at Pure Abilities Therapeutic Services since April 2022. Previous roles include CTRS positions at SUN Behavioral Columbus from June 2020 to May 2023 and as an intern at Pure Abilities, LLC from January 2020 to July 2020, where DeAnn supported clients with disabilities by assisting in treatment plans and therapeutic sessions. Additionally, DeAnn has experience in recreational leadership as an Assistant Volleyball Coach at Canterbury Middle School and as an Activity Assistant at Saint Anne's Home and Retirement Community, focusing on activities for residents with dementia. Early career roles include Activities Director at Northwood Villages and hostess at Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar. DeAnn holds a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the Indiana Institute of Technology, completed between 2016 and 2020.
