Lori Fried

Director, Monitoring, Evaluation, And Learning at Pure Earth

Lori Fried has extensive experience in monitoring, evaluation, learning, and grants management. Lori is currently working at Pure Earth as the Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning. Prior to this, they held the position of Grants Manager at the same organization. Lori also worked at Trickle Up as a Program Manager, where they managed a livelihoods project for the U.S. State Department and oversaw tracking, reporting, and relationship management with partners. At Winrock International, Lori served as a Program Associate II, focusing on monitoring and evaluation for a USAID Ethiopia pastoralist land rights project. Lori also conceptualized and wrote M&E plans for successful USG grant proposals. During their time at Tetra Tech DPK, Lori worked as a Global Law and Development Fellow, implementing and collaborating on an M&E plan for a USAID Iraq Access to Justice Program. Lori also collaborated with a Grant Manager to compile sub-grantee data and produce quarterly reports. Additionally, Lori has experience as a Research Consultant at SCO Family of Services and as an Access to Justice Intern at the International Federation of Women Lawyers - Kenya (FIDA-K). Lori has also interned at UN-Habitat and Equality Now, where they gained experience in global division work and communications and advocacy, respectively.

Lori Fried has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Film Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder. Lori also holds a Graduate Certificate in Survey Design and Data Analysis from The George Washington University. Additionally, they have completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Affairs from The New School. The specific years of their education are not provided.
