Brian Bird is an accomplished writer and executive producer with extensive experience in the entertainment industry. Since January 2013, Brian has served as a writer and executive producer for "When Calls the Heart." Additionally, Brian has been involved with Pure Flix since April 2016 as a writer and co-producer for "The Case for Christ" movie. As a partner, writer, and producer at Believe Pictures since 2005, Brian has contributed to various projects, while also holding board positions with the 168 Film Project and Visual Story Network since 2011 and 2010, respectively. Brian’s leadership extends to Biola University and Saddleback Church, where involvement in respective media and leadership roles has been maintained since the 1990s. With a background as a writer-producer for independent feature films and television productions dating back to 1990, Brian notably worked as a writer and executive producer for Paramount Pictures' "Captive" from 2012 to 2015. Prior experience includes serving as managing editor for the Purpose Driven Connection magazine from 2008 to 2010. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from California State University, Fullerton, earned in 1980.
