Olivier Taisne

Olivier Taisne has a diverse work experience with various companies in the retail and food industry. Olivier is currently working as the Vice President Commercial & Logistics at Pure Harvest Smart Farms in the UAE, where they focus on sustainable production of fresh fruits and vegetables. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Food, Middle East at Al-Futtaim, where they were responsible for the operations and development of M&S Food & Hospitality brand in six countries. Olivier has also worked as the Head of Retail Operations at Abu Dhabi Coop, overseeing the strategy for hypermarkets, supermarkets, and other formats. Earlier in their career, they held senior management positions at Majid Al Futtaim and Panda Retail Company. Olivier has experience in managing business units, implementing new brands, and leading international projects. Olivier has a strong background in sales growth and profit improvement.

Olivier Taisne has a Licentiate degree in Korean Studies from Yonsei University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended the National Police School from 1990 to 1993, where they received a non-commissioned officer degree in Gendarmerie National. Olivier also has a High School Diploma in Economics from Lycee Privee Notre Dame at Valenciennes, which they achieved from 1986 to 1988. In terms of additional certifications, they completed the Director Master Professional Retail Program at Carrefour Korea in June 2003 and obtained a football coach certification from FFF - Fédération Française de Football in 1993.
