Lottie Rutland

Lottie Rutland has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Lottie started their career at The George and the Dragon in 2013 as a Front of House staff, where they developed customer service, time management, and task prioritization skills. Lottie then worked at Bel & The Dragon in 2014 as a Front of House staff, where they independently managed parties and won a competition for selling the highest quantity of premium beverages.

In 2016, Lottie worked as a Summer Intern at Isa Tapia Productions, focusing on finance-related tasks such as combining exchange rate data and analyzing competitor pricing data to determine selling prices.

From 2017 to 2018, they joined PwC as a Placement Assurance Associate, completing seven out of fourteen ICAEW ACA exams. Lottie gained experience in external audit, working within teams to provide assurance on clients' financial statements.

In 2018, Lottie took on a WIE Intern role at Exeter University, where they conducted data analysis on student engagement with career services and presented a report on placement trends.

During their time at PwC, Lottie held additional roles as a PwC Student Ambassador in 2018, participating in various events and promoting recruitment diversity, and as an Assurance Associate from 2019 to 2021, focusing on technical and management accounting tasks.

Lottie'smost recent work experience is with Pure Electric, starting in 2021. Lottie initially served as the Lead Financial Accountant UK, then became the Interim Financial Controller, and currently holds the position of Financial Controller.

Lottie Rutland's education history begins with their graduation from Wycombe High School, where they completed their high school education from 2008 to 2013. Lottie then attended The Henley College from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained their A Levels. Following this, Lottie enrolled at the University of Exeter, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from 2015 to 2019. In 2017, while still studying at the University of Exeter, they also started attending Kaplan Business School Bristol, where they successfully completed their First-time ACA passes in Accounting and Finance/Audit.
