Pure Storage is looking for an Area Vice President to lead Partner Sales in EMEA. This strategic leadership role will oversee and manage all of our Go-to-Market (GTM) relationships and is responsible for the recruitment, development, and management of the business relationships with Value Added Resellers (VAR) across the region.

In this role it is essential that you can work with cross-functional teams from Field Sales, Systems Engineering, Partner Marketing, Field Marketing, Alliances and Sales Operations. These functions will be key resources for you to leverage to attain and exceed sales performance goals and to drive our VAR partnerships forward.

Manage a team of Partner Sales Managers and Partner Account Managers. Create Strategies and lead team efforts to maximize sell-through of Pure products within the Partner ecosystem. Demonstrate leadership and initiative to grow our Partner business in EMEA. Aggressively drive Partners to maximize sales through sales best practices, training and support. Communicate masterfully with partners on new product offerings. Work with marketing to drive programs and events to extend the relationships to new prospects. Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products. Develop channel strategies, programs and hiring plans in support of all channel initiatives. Develop and cultivate executive relationships with key partners and other industry leaders, monitoring all metrics and assuring the team meets both sales and key selling objectives. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

5+ years of sales management experience, 5+years of experience in the Channel. Proven experience managing complex partnerships, setting strategy, driving business and technical alignment, and communicating with both internal and external executives. BA/BA degree in business, marketing or software engineering preferred Demonstrated working knowledge of the software tech industry Ability to travel through EMEA (Covid restrictions permitting) ~25-30% Competitive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to enthusiastically represent the company.
