Rob Quast

Rob Quast is a Principal Technologist in the Office of the CTO at Pure Storage, with a career spanning over two decades in data architecture and engineering. Since joining Pure Storage in April 2019, Rob has specialized in unstructured data and high-performance workloads within hybrid cloud environments, developing automated solutions in partnership with Equinix Metal. Previously, Rob worked at ePlus Inc. from August 2007 to January 2019, serving as a Principal Architect and focusing on architecting and implementing data center technologies. Rob's career also includes a role as Senior Server and Network Administrator at Central Connecticut State University, where expertise in Windows and Linux server administration and storage architecture was gained. Rob holds a degree from Central Connecticut State University and is a graduate of Granby Memorial High School.
