Jack Zoeller

Founder & CEO at Purefy

Jack has been a CEO in the financial services industry for 32 years, including at EF Hutton Indemnity, Capital Risk Management and Cordia Bancorp. He has started five new companies including Purefy since 2014, centered on the idea of simplifying and reducing financial risk. He served as Chairman of Bank of Virginia from 2010 to 2016 before stepping down to run Purefy. Jack launched his finance career on Wall Street, where he quickly established himself as an innovator and leader in the early years of the U.S. derivative markets. After his selection as CEO of a new E.g. Hutton subsidiary, Jack built the most profitable line of business in that firm, and then became CEO of the largest home mortgage lender in New England. Jack graduated first in his class from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, served as a United States Army Ranger and infantry commander in the 82d Airborne, and holds degrees from the Harvard Kennedy School and Oxford University, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar.
