Mubasher Maqbool Ahmad

Mubasher Maqbool Ahmad has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Mubasher started their career as a Manager of Finance at Intellect Systems in 2002 and worked there for a year. Mubasher then joined Doctors Hospital and Medical Centre as a Finance Manager and later became the Manager of Accounts and Taxation. In 2004, they joined Doctors Hospital Group as the Group Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrator, where they played a key role in establishing and acquiring new businesses. Mubasher worked there until 2009.

From 2009 to 2012, Mubasher worked as the Finance Manager at National Reference Laboratory (NRL), a Mubadala Healthcare initiative. Mubasher was responsible for delivering a 10-year business and financial plan for NRL. Mubasher then moved on to Mubadala Healthcare, Diagnostics, where they served as the Group Finance Manager from 2012 to 2014.

In 2014, Mubasher joined the National Reference Laboratory (NRL) again, this time as the Group Director of Finance and Corporate Services. Mubasher worked there until 2016. In 2020, they became the Director of Procurement and Supply Chain at The Medical Office, a Pure Health Company, where they oversaw procurement activities at hospitals owned by the Ministry of Presidential Affairs (MOPA, UAE). Mubasher worked there until 2022.

In 2022, Mubasher took on multiple roles as the Chief Financial Officer for Tamouh Healthcare, a Pure Health company, and YAS Clinic and Abu Dhabi Stem Cells, another Pure Health company. These roles involved managing Covid Field Hospitals, vaccinations, and mass screenings.

Lastly, since 2018, Mubasher has been serving as the Group Director of Finance at Pure Health, a healthcare services and information technology group. In this role, they have been responsible for improving financial, operational, and clinical performance with customized solutions.

Mubasher Maqbool Ahmad completed their Associate Member of Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants degree in Finance from 2003 to 2005. Mubasher also earned a Lead Auditor (ISO-9000) degree in International Quality Standards from 1998 to 1999.
