Julianna Silva

Julianna Silva is an Associate Scientist at PureTech Health since June 2022, with prior experience as a Senior Research Associate at Frequency Therapeutics. Julianna's work has focused on formulation development for hearing restoration, including the design and execution of experiments, data analysis, and clinical preparation efforts, particularly involving polymer hydrogel systems. Prior roles at Ocular Therapeutix included R&D Engineer I, where Julianna developed sustained release formulations and optimized drug delivery systems, as well as various co-op positions that contributed to advancements in hydrogel formulations and manufacturing processes. Julianna holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University.
