Elizabeth Rivera

Elizabeth Rivera is a microbiologist with extensive experience in microbiological testing and environmental monitoring across multiple organizations. Currently at PureTek Corporation since January 2019, Elizabeth has developed time kill studies and validated product testing for Burkholderia cepacia complex, alongside managing environmental sampling and microbial testing. Previously at Sunrider International, Elizabeth revamped environmental testing practices to ensure compliance with FDA standards and implemented SOPs. Earlier roles include laboratory assistant and research associate positions at Kaiser Permanente and other institutions, where Elizabeth honed skills in specimen processing, data management, and quality control. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Merced.
