Jay Gerlach

Jay Gerlach has over 19 years of professional experience in the life sciences industry. Jay began their career as a Research Associate II at Ambit Biosciences in 2002, followed by a Research Technician II role at the Seattle Biomedical Research Institute in 2004. In 2006, they joined PATH as a Commercialization Associate, then as a Senior Commercialization Associate. From 2010 to 2020, they were at NanoString Technologies, Inc., where they held roles as a Senior Product Manager, Director of Product Management, Genomics, and Senior Marketing Manager, Clinical Markets. Jay's most recent position was as Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Alliances at ROSALIND (OnRamp Bio), where they built a full-cycle marketing and product management program and managed a marketing budget and two direct reports. Currently, they are the Vice President Marketing and Sr. Director, Product Marketing at Purigen Biosystems.

Jay Gerlach is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business, with an expected completion date of 2026. Jay also holds a Bachelor of Science - BS in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Washington.
