Barry N. Rice

Barry N. Rice has over 30 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety (EHS) roles. Barry N. began their career as a Metrology Technician at Lockheed Martin and later worked as a Group Leader and Technician at GE. In 1994, they joined S.M. Stoller Corporation as an Environmental Project Supervisor, managing groundwater treatment systems and ensuring compliance with permits. From 2006 to 2012, they served as a Regional EH&S Manager at InStar Services Group, where they led EHS projects and initiatives. In 2012, they started their own consulting firm, Rice EHS Consulting, providing EHS services to disaster restoration and construction clients. Barry N. then held various EHS management roles, including Safety, Health, and Environmental Manager at Tampa Armature Works, Regional EHS Manager at Leadec, Director Environment Health Safety at Signal Restoration Services and PuroClean Corporate Headquarters, and most recently, Director Environment Health Safety at US Roofing Systems. Barry brings extensive expertise in hazard recognition, assessment, mitigation, safety training, regulatory compliance, and EHS program implementation.

Barry N. Rice obtained their Associates degree in Metrology from Butler County Community College, where they studied from 1981 to 1983. Barry N. then pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Management at Eckerd College, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. Barry N.
