Pete Lee

Pete Lee has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Pete started their career at Clearwater International Corporate Finance, where they worked as a Manager, overseeing various corporate finance transactions. Pete then moved on to become the Chief Financial Officer at Galleria RTS, a leading provider of retail optimization software and services.

After their role at Galleria, Pete Lee took on the position of Group Finance Director at Independent Group, a PE-backed business offering services in the domestic, commercial, and insurance markets. Here, they were responsible for managing all aspects of finance and administration, including funding requirements and stakeholder management.

Pete Lee then transitioned into interim CFO roles, working at Celaton, a company providing artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions, as well as Crisp, a Kroll business specializing in real-time risk intelligence. At both companies, they played a crucial role in financial matters, such as building teams, implementing processes and controls, improving management information, and managing cash.

In 2014, Pete Lee took on the role of CFO at AppLearn®, a digital adoption platform provider for enterprise customers. Pete supported the CEO in investor relations, fundraising, cash management, and implementing systems and controls.

In 2016, Pete Lee worked with 1st Class Holidays Ltd as a Part Time Finance Director, providing strategic, operational, and financial input after an investment by PHD Private Equity. Pete then became Chief Finance Officer & Chief Operating Officer at Purple, an intelligent spaces company, where they currently oversee the financial and operational aspects of the business.

Alongside these roles, Pete Lee has also worked as a Part Time CFO to SMEs at Felix Advisory and as a Consultant at British Cycling. Overall, Pete Lee has developed a strong expertise in finance, management, and strategic operations throughout their career.

Pete Lee attended Bury Grammar School from 1987 to 1989. Pete then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Hull from 1989 to 1992. Pete has not obtained any additional certifications from CIMA.
