James LaVigne has worked in the culinary industry since 2013. James began their career as a Sous Chef at Barbara Lynch Collective, and later became the Chef de Cuisine of Stir, a demonstration kitchen and cookbook store. In 2020, they moved to Earnest Drinks as Executive Chef, where they curated a menu of scratch-made dishes. Currently, they are a Recipe Developer at Purple Carrot.
James LaVigne received a Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from the New England Culinary Institute between 2011 and 2014.
