John Smulo

John Smulo has over 11 years of experience in the digital marketing and business process outsourcing (BPO) industry. John began their career in 2008 as Chief Executive Officer of Purple Cow Agency, a digital marketing agency specializing in website development, graphic design, company branding, social media marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO). In this role, they were responsible for designing and maintaining policies and processes to support organizational governance and growth initiatives. In 2011, John joined the Contra Costa Small Business Development Center as a Marketing Consultant and Trainer. In 2019, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Purple Cow Agency, OPC, the Philippines branch of the Bay Area, California headquartered Purple Cow Agency. In this role, they are responsible for sustaining business growth opportunities on a global scale, overseeing the performance of the brand, and providing strategic marketing support.

John Smulo attended Leadership Contra Costa from 2012 to 2013. John then attended Morling College from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree.
