Duke Obare

Duke Obare is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in venture building and strategic research. Currently serving as an Associate Venture Builder at Purple Elephant Ventures since December 2022, Duke focuses on the intersection of tourism, climate, and technology. Previous roles include Research Analyst and Co-Founder & Chief Strategist at YaMabeshte, where responsibilities involved shaping business strategy and driving initiatives. Additional experience encompasses a Fellow training position in software development at LakeHub and an ICT internship at Kenya Tourism Board, focusing on data analysis and IT support. Duke holds a nanoDegree in Full Stack Software Development from Holberton School, a Certificate in Business Operations Planning and Strategy from the McKinsey Forward Program, and a BSc in Actuarial Science with IT from Maseno University.
