Juliette Khamak has extensive experience in the field of knitwear design. Juliette started their career as a commissioned illustrator for L'Oréal via Twelve Studio in 2012. Juliette then gained further experience as a knitwear designer assistant through internships at Proenza Schouler, Tim Ryan Knitwear, and House of Holland in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a knitwear design assistant intern at Cacharel. Juliette then joined CÉLINE in 2014 as an assistant knitwear designer. In 2015, they joined SANDRO as a Knitwear Designer, where they reported directly to the head of knitwear womenswear and was responsible for design, technical sketches, and production. In 2017, they became the Head of Knitwear at Versus Versace and later at Versace Jeans Couture. From 2020 to 2022, they held the position of Head of Knitwear at MOSCHINO. Currently, they are working as the Head Knitwear Designer at PURPLE starting in 2023.
Juliette Khamak began their education in 2008 at Studio Bercot Paris, where they pursued a womenswear design degree. Juliette completed this program in 2010. Concurrently, they also attended Studio Berçot in Paris during the same period and obtained a fashion design degree. Following this, they enrolled at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, from 2010 to 2014. Here they focused on a BA in Fashion Design with a specialization in knitwear. Juliette's education history demonstrates their commitment to fashion and apparel design, with a particular interest in womenswear.
