Hmi Hmi Gibbs has a diverse and extensive background in the creative field, with experience working for various companies over the years. Starting in 1995, Gibbs worked as a Designer/Mac Artist at Satori Graphics before moving on to become an Art Director at Frankel & Company in 1997. At Frankel & Company, Gibbs implemented promotions and marketing strategies for well-known brands such as Visa, Target, McDonalds, USPS, and Oldsmobile. In 2001, Gibbs joined Leo Burnett as a Senior Art Director, and later progressed to the role of Associate Creative Director and VP Creative Director. During this time, Gibbs earned numerous prestigious professional awards and worked with top marketers, winning awards such as the Clios and Lions. In 2016, Gibbs transitioned to self-employment, working as a Freelance Creative Director specializing in art and design. Notably, Gibbs served as the Creative Director on the U.S. Army Brand at DDB from 2019 to 2022. Currently, Gibbs holds the position of Managing Creative Director at Purple Strategies, starting in 2022. Throughout Gibbs' career, they have consistently demonstrated creativity, expertise, and a passion for delivering impactful results.

Hmi Hmi Gibbs completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising/Graphic Design from Columbia College Chicago between the years 1990 and 1995.
