Derrick Shelor

Derrick Shelor joined Purple Wave in July 2014 as a sales coordinator. In his role, Derrick will support territory managers by providing customer relationship management assistance, key account assistance, asset marketing collaboration, client-lead administration, researching prospective bidders and sellers and by serving as an interdepartmental liaison for the territory managers.

Derrick comes to Purple Wave with a background in risk management helping farmers with their grain merchandising and marketing strategies. Derrick also worked for a COOP in central Kansas for two and a half years starting as a seeds logistics coordinator and later selling seed, chemical and fertilizer.
