Andy Smith

Andy Smith is an experienced procurement professional currently serving as a Procurement Manager at Purple since April 2019, having previously held the role of Senior Buyer. Prior to this position, Andy accumulated extensive experience at Sewell Development Corp. from July 2010 to April 2019, where roles included Supply Chain Manager, Warehouse Manager, and Shipping Clerk. A field researcher with BYU Guatemala Field Study in 2009, Andy designed a research project focused on poverty and cultural dynamics. Andy's early career included positions as a Data Entry Specialist at LDS Philanthropies, Front Desk Clerk at Inns of Geneva National and Best Western CottonTree Inn, and a Volunteer Interpreter for CHOICE Humanitarian. Andy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies with a focus in International Development from Brigham Young University, earned in 2010.
