Luke Freeman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Luke began their career as a Leadership Development Coordinator at New Life Ranch, where they planned and delivered summer leadership development programs for high school students. Luke also facilitated a 9 month leadership training program for college graduates. Luke then transitioned to the role of Director of Leadership Development and Community Ministries, where they provided leadership training for high school students and young adults. Luke also served as the Director of Community Ministries and Adventure Education, where they developed and delivered a leadership model for staff and program participants. Additionally, Luke served as the Director of Camp Wesley at the West Ohio Conference of The United Methodist Church, where they were responsible for all camp operations, including administration, marketing, and program development. Later, Luke joined John Brown University as an Outdoor Leadership Adjunct Faculty, teaching courses and leading practicum sessions. In their most recent role as a Fractional Director of Organizational Development at Helmerich & Payne, Luke provided leadership and strategy for talent development, training, and organizational culture initiatives. Luke also supported an HRIS implementation project. Currently, they are a Principal at Purpose & Performance Group, where they help leaders engage and contribute to their organizations through team development, leadership training, and coaching. Luke focuses on leveraging strengths and cutting-edge research to design impactful interventions.
Luke Freeman completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Outdoor Leadership Ministries from John Brown University, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Luke later pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Oklahoma, attending from 2010 to 2012.
